Meet some of our students

Teamwork!
The boys sure love this car counting work!

Total concentration!

She loves the purple water!

She is so proud!

This week went by very fast with Monday being President's day. It was a little more challenging with the rain we have been having. The backyard gets muddy and wet. But somehow the children always manage to find fun things to do outside!
On Tuesday I did a bio on George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. They enjoyed seeing how they looked and dressed, especially George Washington's hair.
Have a peaceful and relaxing weekend and we'll see you all on Monday.

We're Ready to BLOG!!

We are looking forward to keeping all of you informed weekly of the comings and goings of our school. Look for our posts to come Thursday or Friday! We are in our first year and are growing at a steady pace. Our Valentine's Day celebration was on Thursday. The children created valentines for their family and friends, decorated their own cupcakes, and weaved paper hearts. We tried to be festive and used pink food coloring in some of the lunch items like mashed potatoes and vanilla yogurt, but the children were too bothered by the color to even try it. I guess we will steer clear of the food coloring from now on. We have a short week ahead of us with President's Day on Monday; we will be using money to familiarize the children with our former President's. This is a good opportunity to reinforce previous lessons they have had while working with money. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
